Location

Little Elim is one of a number of properties clustered at the foot of Golf Course Road at the south of Whiting Bay village.  It is ideally placed for all the village amenities, a short walk to the golf course and just two minutes from the beach.

Accommodation & Facilities

The property is set out on a single floor, with access via a small flight of steps to the rear of the house.  It is in excellent condition and kept well heated by electric storage heaters.


The principal room is the lounge/diner to one side of which is a compact kitchenette.  The lounge has a real fire, with both wood and coal available.  A TV with Freeview, a DVD player and a radio/CD system are supplied.  The dining table seats four. Wi-fi available.


The newly installed kitchenette is equipped with a sink, a oven/grill/hob, a microwave, a fridge with freezer compartment, a toaster and a kettle.  Guests are treated to a welcome pack of a pint of milk, tea, coffee and sugar.  Access to laundry facilities is available by agreement with the owner.


Adjoining the lounge is a comfortably sized twin bedroom with plenty of storage space.  The bathroom features a full-length bath with an electric shower overhead.


Outside is a private off-road parking space.  Access to the property is directly into the lounge via the patio doors.  A small area of private patio decking is available outside with seating and views out over the Firth of Clyde.

The tariff for the 2014 season varies within the range:

£250 - £300 per week.


Rates for short breaks in 2014 are:


Single night: £70

Two nights: £120

Three nights: £150.

Little Elim is a wing of the owner’s modern villa, offering economical yet highly specified holiday accommodation for two persons.


The property is available by the week Friday to Friday, but may also be booked for one, two or three nights, making Little Elim great for a short break or long weekend on Arran.

Important Information


Please note that Little Elim  is strictly non-smoking.  Unfortunately the property is unsuitable for pets and no dogs or other pets can be accepted.


Fuel, linen and towels for your stay are provided at no additional charge.


Arrangements for key collection will be sent to you once your booking is confirmed.  On arrival the property will be available at 4 pm and must be vacated by 10 am on your day of departure.


Bookings may be made over the telephone or by email.  A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The amount of the deposit varies according to the length of your stay, as set out in the full Terms & Conditions referenced below. The balance of your holiday cost must be received by us at least 28 days before your holiday is due to start. Please send your written confirmation and deposit to:
