Location

Garret Cottage is on the sea front in Whiting Bay, opposite the beach.  It is ideally placed for the local shop, garage and the Trafalgar restaurant, and a short walk from the rest of the village amenities.

Accommodation & Facilities

The accommodation is set out over two floors and has central heating throughout.


Downstairs the entrance hall has coat hanging and storage space and leads to the kitchen/diner.


The dining area extends into a bay window and has seating for four.  The fitted kitchen features:


• Washer/dryer

• Electric oven and hob

• Microwave

• Fridge/freezer


The bathroom is at the rear of the property and has a shower over the bath.


Upstairs is the open plan lounge featuring a TV with Freeview and a DVD player.   A further single bed with a second stacked underneath yield flexible further sleeping room for one or two as required. There is a free wi-fi connection.


Garret Cottage enjoys private off-road parking and has a small enclosed garden behind the property.

Important Information


The principal hirer must be aged 25 years or over.


Please note that Garret Cottage is strictly non-smoking.


Pets can be accepted only by prior arrangement at a nominal extra charge.


A cot and high chair are available upon request at the time of booking.


Keys are held at the Trafalgar Restaurant, immediately next to the cottage.  See map for details.  On arrival the property will be available at 4 pm and must be vacated by 10 am on your day of departure.


Bookings may be made over the telephone or by email.  A £200 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The balance of your holiday cost must be received by us at the very latest one clear week before you holiday is due to start. Please send your written confirmation and deposit to:

Our tariff for the 2017 season:

Weeks starting from £300

Short breaks from £100 per night*

* Shorts breaks available on selected dates only. Minimum 3 night stay.


Fuel, electricity, linens & towels are included in the rental tariff.

Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement at £10 per dog per week/stay if shorter.

Garret Cottage is a cottage style property converted

from an old barn in 2000.


The property sleeps up to four adults in a twin bedroom on the ground floor and a pull-out twin in the open plan upstairs lounge area.  It has a cosy kitchen diner. Available Sunday to Sunday.


Garret is adjacent to Trafalgar Cottage, offering the possibility of joint accommodation for larger groups or extended families.
